First aid & AED

Compliant first aid kits and ready-to-use defibrillators, checked and restocked by our team. Quebec City, Levis and the surrounding region.

What it covers

We look after your workplace first aid kits and defibrillators (AEDs). We check what's in each kit, replace anything missing or expired, and make sure your AEDs are ready to work. The service is for businesses, retailers, buildings and institutions that need to keep their first aid equipment in order without managing it themselves. When it makes sense, we come at the same time as your extinguisher and emergency lighting inspections, so all your safety follow-up happens in a single visit.

Why it is required

In Quebec, CNESST regulation covers workplace first aid equipment, including the minimum contents of kits and how many you need based on the number of workers. An incomplete kit or expired supplies can leave you non-compliant on the day of an inspection or, worse, on the day of an accident. An AED with expired pads or a dead battery may refuse to work when it matters most. Our job is to keep that equipment current as required by the applicable standard and regulation.

Frequency :Periodic checks of kits and AEDs (usually monthly or quarterly), with restocking as needed and replacement of pads and batteries before their expiry dates.

Frequently asked questions

How often should a first aid kit be checked?

We recommend periodic checks, often monthly or quarterly depending on the setting. The point is to catch missing or expired supplies before they become a problem. We set the frequency based on your type of workplace and the applicable regulation.

Do AED pads and batteries really expire?

Yes. The electrode pads and the battery have expiry dates and need to be replaced before then. An AED with expired components can fail to deliver a shock during an emergency. We track those dates and plan replacements ahead of time.

Can you supply kits and AEDs, not just inspect them?

Yes. We can supply kits, AEDs, refills, pads and batteries, along with signage to locate them. You can hand us the purchasing and upkeep, or just have us check what you already have.

How do I know what was checked and what still needs fixing?

Every check is logged in the Canuck360 portal. You'll find the reports, the deficiencies to correct and upcoming deadlines such as pad and battery expiry dates, all in one place.
